like a wonder
through time
walking across
the ages as
abundant as
desert sand
the sweetness
of your melodious
voice soothes like
a cool desert wind
gently blowing on
a sweaty brow
& your bright eyes
shine like a saharan
moon moving across
the midnight sky
making heartbeats go
fluttering like butterflies
flying through the skies
searching for the flower
that holds the nectar
of the Gods & Goddesses
of ancient ancient times
i have heard it said that
the heartbeat beats
a melody of love
which echoes long after
it has ceased to exist on
this earthly plane that
houses life as we've known it
if so then my heart belongs
to you a thousand times

no matter wherever you wonder
