KNOW NO FEAR

don't be afraid
of the dark
my mother would
always tell me
i believed her
but still couldn't
bring myself to
turn off the lights
in the dark is where
the boogeymen dwelled
along with the ghost, haints
sprites & demons dancing
in the abyss of my mind
but that was some
yesteryears ago
i have since grown
& learned the lessons
from the sacred wisdom
of my ancient ancestors
today I know that I am
the darkness & I have
absolutely no fear
