About the Artist
Thando Mlambo is a Zimbabwean creative based in Harare. Having lived in South Africa, Côte d'Ivoire, Tunisia, and educated in the US and UK, Thando is deeply invested in knowledge and cultural production from and about Africa, its diaspora, and its links to the global. She asserts it is through cultural exchange, global connections, and collaborations that substantial socio-cultural and political impact can be made. Her personal, academic, and professional pursuits have always centered the ways in which art can, and does, interrogate and unsettle systems of inequality. She is part of the genre-bending music duo @SEAZN___official and has released solo music as Thando Mlambo.
